Email Trouble

Setup Your Email

In order to send e-mail using your home POP3 account, you will need to change your outgoing mail server (smtp) to send your mail. You will be able to recieve, but if you are having trouble sending, you need to change the settings below:( if you use a VPN (or sometimes Outlook) you should not have to change a thing)

You need to find the Accounts settings in Outlook, Outlook Express or Mail. In OE and O it is under Tools, and accounts or options. Once you find the account you wish to alter so you can send mail and click on Properties, or Change Account settings. Once there OE has a tab marked servers, click that, Outlook should have an entire page setup with all the settings there. Look for Outgoing Mail Server.

Mac users, the Mail program should have similar settings under Mail click Preferances when you open Mail. look for your account info and add a new smtp or outgoing mail server. Once added, select the one below.

PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE EXISTING SETTINGS, SAVE IT TO A FILE, WRITE THEM DOWN AND KEEP THEM IN A SAFE PLACE SO WHEN YOU RETURN HOME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PUT THESE SETTINGS BACK IN OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEND MAIL.

Once you have done this, change the smtp outgoing mail to read: mail.abacoinet.com

Click apply and you are done.
