Setup Your Browser
Browser Settings: (How to Save passwords and use a new window for browsing):
So as not to inadvertantly close your Maintain Connection Page and get bumped off line, on Internet Explorer there are
settings to save user#s and passwords as well as open a new window when clicking links.
For PCs only.(IE doesn't work for the login page on Macs. Scroll down for the Mac Intstructions)Open IE, Click on
Tools, Internet Options, Click Advanced Tab, scroll down and uncheck 'Reuse windows for launching Shortcuts' .
Then Click Apply at the bottom.
Click on Content Tab, click Auto Complete, check all four boxes, then click OK.
You are done!
Once this is in place, and you put the user# and password in the proper fields and tell it to remember them,
when you return to the login page, all you need to do is double click the open space where the user# is and the #
will pop out the bottom. You then click on the highlighted # and the password will appear. Click login or logout and
click ok.
Macintosh or G3, 4 or 5 using OSX
For Macs, you need to use Safari, Mozzilla FireFox 9.1 or Netscape 7.1 (FireFox and Netscape are also available on the
pc and have the same set up instructions as Safari).
Open the browsers, click on File, Preferances and in there there are settings for AutoFill. Check all 3 boxes and it
will not only remember the user# and password, but it will auto fill the form. You then only need to select login or
logout and click ok.
You are done!
Once logged in, click File and Open New Window and a new browser will open and you can now start surfing the web.
